Yudisium XLII, Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Gresik
On Thursday, February 9 2023, at the Sang Pencerah Hall, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik, the 42nd Faculty of Engineering Yudisium was held. At this Yudisium, the engineering faculty graduated a total of 124 students from 4 Study Programs namely, Industrial Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Shipbuilding Construction Engineering. Industrial Engineering on this occasion graduated 77 students where 35 of them were students with special cum-laude achievements and graduated with a study period of 3.5 years.
This activity was opened with remarks from the Dean of the UMG Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Harunur S.T., M.Kom., in his remarks he congratulated the prospective graduates and graduates who had successfully completed their studies at Muhammadiyah Gresik University and were grateful to be able to release prospective graduates to the Sang Pencerah Hall , because we used to accept them as new students at the Enlightenment Hall and now release them as graduates at the same place. Furthermore, he said that this graduation was not the end, but the beginning of a bigger journey and hopefully with the provisions given while studying at UMG friends, it can be the initial capital to navigate the future so that it can be a blessing and become better.
At this Yudisium, the best graduate of the engineering faculty was won by an industrial engineering student, namely Firly Nur Annisa with a GPA of 3.82 and a study period of 3.5 years. In her speech as the best graduate, Firly expressed her deepest gratitude to all lecturers from the faculty engineering, especially industrial engineering, who have shared their knowledge with us students so that we can get to this point, don't forget Ms. Firly also said that real life is just about to begin. face ahead is still long.
This event was closed by a prayer from Mr. Ma'had Wicaksono, S.Kom., M.Kom., in his prayer he asked Allah SWT to bless the steps of his fellow students after graduating from Muhammadiyah Gresik University, to make the knowledge they get as knowledge. useful and don't make the knowledge that we lecturers provide as knowledge that is used for bad things such as deceiving people, corruption and so on.
