Entrepreneur Demo day, UMG Industrial Engineering Students Show Off at Ciputra University
On 9-10 November 2022, through the Merdeka Entrepreneurship program as part of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM), industrial engineering students at the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik participated in entrepreneurial coaching activities held by Ciputra University. This program has been running for 2 months, and in this activity there was also a demonstration day of student-made products.
This activity was attended by 12 groups of students from UMG, in this activity a group of industrial engineering students as one of the activity partners brought their products N.Y.K. Payus fish crackers typical of Sunggonlegowo village as one of the products exhibited in this demo day activity. This activity was guided by Mr. Hidayat, S.T. , M.Eng, he is a lecturer in the industrial engineering study program at UMG and Mr. R.Achmad Djazuli, S.P.M.M.A., in this activity also accompanying the activity facilitators, Mr. Ir Alexander Wahyudi Henky Soeparto, M.BA., M.M and Mrs. Dorothy.
At this event, all groups from various campuses from Indonesia exhibited their products at the booths that had been provided and gave presentations for the products they brought, then the products will be tested again for improvement and will be exhibited again in December 2022. This program is intended as a the media develops student interest in the field of entrepreneurship, equips students with expertise in the field of entrepreneurship and creates an entrepreneurial atmosphere in the campus environment, said Mr. Hidayat as the supervisor.
