Welding Training Inspector Technology
Welding Inspector Training Technology is one of the training / training in the field of welding. In this training the Industrial Engineering Laboratory students worked in conducting Welding Inspector Training in collaboration with NDT INSTRUMENTS INDONESIA to conduct training starting from August 21, 2017 - August 26, 2017. Training is intended to apply one of the courses in industrial engineering, namely Manufacturing Process and providing specifications for participants in the field of inspector welding. In the welding training activities the inspector lasts for 6 days, where 1 day is used to go directly to the field (Practice) and observe what has been learned for the past 5 days. The trainers brought by NDT INDONESIA INSTRUMENTS are experienced people in the field. Training not only learns the theory but also learns the application from the application that has been taught. Sharing knowledge by the Trainer is very helpful for participants in opening their thoughts and mindset about Welding Inspectors. With 42 participants who participated in the training, it was hoped that they could improve their qualifications and be able to use the knowledge that had been learned for 6 days well and wisely.
Training of general k3 experts
Training of general OSH experts held for 13 days with an effective time of 12 days, which coincides on January 15, 2018 - January 27 2018. The implementation of training every day without pauses still makes participants enthusiastic and gain a lot of knowledge. The implementation is carried out at 08.00 to 17.00. The training is filled by the public, where not only students or alumni of industrial engineering students can register or get the training, but participants who follow from any field. Lecturers, employees, students and the general public can register as participants. The training of general k3 experts is only 20 people who can join
In the training of general k3 experts, laboratory students collaborate with PT. GKN. Not only the theory conveyed by a great speaker, but practice to the field and certified examinations are also carried out. Testing is carried out directly by PT. GKN with 2 testers. The testing method used is a field case study when participants practice in an industry, namely PT. SWABINA GATRA. After the case study is obtained, participants are expected to be able to analyze the problem and then provide the optimal solution to all the problems, then what they get is presented.

This social service was held at the Miftakhul Jannah Gresik Orphanage on June 3, 2018. With funds taken from the Student Laboratory cash and financial assistance for donors and unused clothes from eligible laboratory student members, they were also given to share with the younger siblings - sister who is in the orphanage
